Functional genomics of adaptation and convergent evolution

To understand the molecular and evolutionary basis that govern plant-abiotic interactions in arid environments, we aim to analyze existing whole-genome sequence data to identify genes and genome features involved in tolerance to extreme conditions, exploring the molecular mechanisms involved in adaptation and development.
